The hotel occupies a seafront position beside Warnemünde’s broad sandy beach and approximately two-kilometre promenade. Guests can walk east towards the lighthouse, Teepott, harbour entrance and Alter Strom, where fishing boats, cafés and seafood restaurants line the waterfront. The nearby Kurpark provides a quieter green space behind the promenade. Warnemünde railway station is approximately one kilometre away and connects with Rostock by S-Bahn. Shops and restaurants are concentrated around the resort centre and Alter Strom. Rostock-Laage Airport is about 25 kilometres away, while central Rostock is approximately ten kilometres inland.

• Warnemünde Beach – approximately 50 metres: The wide sandy beach is suitable for swimming, coastal walks and seasonal covered beach-chair hire.
• Warnemünde Kurpark – approximately 400 metres: This landscaped park offers shaded paths and a quieter alternative to the busy seafront.
• Warnemünde Lighthouse – approximately 1 kilometre: The historic coastal landmark provides seasonal access to a viewing platform overlooking the beach and harbour.
• Teepott – approximately 1 kilometre: The distinctive waterfront building beside the lighthouse contains restaurants and is one of the resort’s best-known landmarks.
• Alter Strom – approximately 1.2 kilometres: Fishing boats, passenger vessels, shops and seafood restaurants line Warnemünde’s historic harbour channel.
• Warnemünde Local History Museum – approximately 1.4 kilometres: Exhibitions in a traditional fisherman’s house explain local maritime life and the resort’s development.
• Westmole harbour wall – approximately 1.6 kilometres: The pier offers close views of ferries, cruise ships and vessels entering or leaving the Warnow estuary.

• Walk along the promenade to reach the lighthouse, Teepott and Alter Strom without needing local transport.
• Arrive early when driving because the hotel car park cannot be reserved and fills more quickly during summer weekends.
• Keep the visitor card issued with the local tourist tax, as it includes public transport within Rostock and the surrounding VVW network.
• Use the S-Bahn from Warnemünde station for visits to central Rostock rather than searching for city-centre parking.
• Bring a windproof layer even in summer, as the exposed Baltic seafront can be considerably cooler than inland areas.

June to August brings the warmest beach weather and longest daylight hours, but also the greatest demand. Warnemünde Week in July and summer cruise calls can make the resort particularly busy. May, September and early October are often suitable for quieter coastal walks. Winter is colder, darker and windier, yet the indoor pool, saunas and wellness facilities make the hotel practical for an off-season Baltic break.
