The hotel is located in Agii Apostoli, within the Kato Daratso coastal area approximately four kilometres west of central Chania. Several sheltered sandy beaches, a coastal park and walking routes around the headlands are nearby. Tavernas, casual restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and beach bars can be reached on foot. Local buses operate towards Chania, making the Venetian harbour and Old Town accessible without driving. A car remains useful for western Crete’s more remote beaches and inland villages. Chania International Airport is approximately 19 kilometres away by road, with private transfers, taxis and combined bus journeys available.

• Agii Apostoli Beach – approximately 200 metres: Sheltered sandy coves and rocky headlands provide swimming, sunbathing and short coastal walks.
• Municipal Garden of Agii Apostoli – approximately 500 metres: Pine-shaded paths and open spaces offer a pleasant setting for walking or jogging.
• Golden Beach – approximately 700 metres: This broad sandy beach has shallow water, organised sections and nearby cafés.
• Glaros Beach – approximately 700 metres: The north-facing beach offers sand, swimming areas and convenient access to local restaurants.
• Nea Chora Beach – approximately 2.5 kilometres: The city beach is lined with fish tavernas and provides a coastal route towards central Chania.

• Try different Agii Apostoli coves when wind affects one side of the headland, as conditions can vary between neighbouring beaches.
• Use the regular local bus for Chania Old Town, where parking is limited and many historic streets are pedestrianised.
• Confirm return-bus times before an evening in Chania because services may become less frequent later at night.
• Hire a car for day trips to western Crete, but start early for Balos, Falassarna and other popular coastal destinations.
• Carry sun protection and drinking water when walking between beaches, especially during the hottest part of summer afternoons.

May to June and September to early October generally provide warm swimming conditions without the strongest midsummer heat. July and August are hotter, busier and bring greater demand for beaches, restaurants and rental cars. April and late October suit walking and sightseeing, although sea temperatures and weather are less predictable. Winter is quieter and wetter, and some seasonal hotels, beach facilities and local tourism businesses may close or reduce their hours.
